 Maternal-Fetal Medicine Staff

Our team provides care recommendations before and during pregnancy, in coordination with the patient’s obstetrical provider.

Prior to pregnancy, our team can help women with pre-existing conditions such as diabetes prepare for a healthy pregnancy. Women who have had previous complications with pregnancy may also benefit from a consultation prior to becoming pregnant again.

If a medical condition arises during pregnancy, your obstetrical provider may refer you to be seen at Dean Maternal-Fetal Medicine to discuss care recommendations.

Services available include:

• Treatment of pre-existing conditions or complications that arise in the woman or baby
• Genetic counseling
• Fetal assessment and well-being
• Ongoing pregnancy monitoring to track:
  o Fetal growth
  o Cervical length
  o Multiple gestation
  o At-risk population
  o Known fetal conditions
