Dean Health Plan has been selected as a PlanSmartChoiceTM Plus award recipient for the 2011 Open Season. The nation’s 12 top-rated plans were recognized in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program based on PlanSmartChoice results and user satisfaction ratings.
PlanSmartChoice is an online resource designed to help federal employees choose medical, dental & vision options. Originally developed with federal funding, PlanSmart Choice is available free of charge to all federal employees in all 50 states.
The PlanSmartChoice rating system measures how well health plans met employees’ needs. The ratings are based on three sets of "component" measures collected within the PlanSmartChoice web site: plan performance, cost performance and satisfaction performance.
