City Improves Roads to Janesville Campus
Have you seen the orange cones along Highway 11? The City of Janesville
is working hard to make the roads near the campus safe and easy to
navigate while minimizing the inconvenience to neighbors.
Workers
have finished realigning the I-90/eastbound Racine Street off ramp.
Improvements have also been made to Wright Road south of Racine Street.
Crews are also wrapping up improvements to Midland Road. From June 28
through August 12, there will be median work around the Midland and
Wright Road intersections.
The temporary traffic signals at the
Wright Road intersection will be replaced by permanent ones near the
time of project completion. One westbound lane and two eastbound lanes
of Racine Street will remain open to traffic throughout all phases of
road construction. Midland Road will remain open as well.
