The United Way of Dane County
Dean is committed to supporting The United Way of Dane County and its seven agenda for change items, specifically focusing on children, health and partnerships. We believe that our mission of improving the health of our community can be better accomplished with great community partners like the United Way.

The American Red Cross – Badger Chapter
In early 2011, Dean joined together with The American Red Cross - Badger Chapter to strengthen their disaster relief program across south-central Wisconsin. We have committed to a three-year partnership to ensure that if families are displaced from their homes because of natural disasters, they have the resources they need to get back on their feet.

The March of Dimes
Dean & St. Mary’s are proud to be Presenting Sponsors of the March of Dimes and support their March for Babies and Signature Chefs Event each year. We believe in the mission of the March of Dimes and will continue to work until the day that all babies are born healthy.

Second Harvest
For more than 10 years Dean has partnered with NBC15 in the Second Harvest of Southern Wisconsin Share Your Holidays campaign. The Southern Wisconsin chapter of Second Harvest has been raising money and collecting food to aid hunger-relief programs in 16 southwestern Wisconsin counties for over 25 years. Each year Dean holds several events to raise money and collect food donations. In 2010, Dean raised enough money to provide more than 92,000 meals to those in need.

Breast Cancer Recovery
Breast Cancer Recovery was founded by Ann Haney, a former Dean Health Plan Vice President, and pledges to help women heal mind, body and spirit after breast cancer. Dean Health Plan is a founding contributor of the organization and continues to support this organization.
