Middleton Teen Clinic

The Middleton Teen Clinic was founded in 2004 by Kathy and Dr. Peter Karofsky to aid students without access to a primary physician. Originally opened to service teens in high school, the clinic has expanded its reach to middle schoolers.

The Clinic serves Middleton High School, Middleton Alternative High School (MASH), Kromrey Middle School and Glacier Creek Middle School students.

Our Services

We provide the immediate needs of patients without providing continuity of care. We are a temporary resource for teens in the Middleton-Cross Plains school district whether or not they have medical insurance.

Students are provided the following free services:

  • Comprehensive examinations for school and sports
  • Treatment for physical and mental illnesses and injuries
  • Therapy for sexual issues including sexually transmitted diseases and birth control

Our Supporters

The Middleton Teen Clinic is funded by private donations from citizens in Massachusetts and Wisconsin, by the city of Middleton, by donations from Middleton and Cross Plains businesses and service organizations and by in-kind support from Dean Foundation. The medical director, Dr. Peter Karofsky, is a long-time Middleton resident and professor emeritus of the University of Wisconsin Medical School.
